Hey guys. It is late in the day, but it is Sunday and I made it in with my file to offer you. Sunday is usually my day of rest and relaxation, but the forum is hopping and hopping. Scroll down and read a few previous posts to get all the details, but for now here is my file for you today.

Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy (#CD00337)

Yes, another recipe page.  Here and there I like to do one.  My plan is to give each of the girls a book of family favorites.  I hope it is a long time before the gift is given but I don’t want to wait till the last minute. 
 
This layout uses Visual Designs by Chris file #CD00337 Henny Hen.  Pretty simple layout… ribbons, brads and some cut up strips to make straw.

Laundry Soap recipe (#CD00646)

Disclaimer: strips are straighter than they appear.  LOL  I used just the border of Visual Designs by Chris #CD00646 MY LOVE FOR YOU.  I like using bits of a file for things they weren’t really created for.  This strip looked like bubbles to me.  Created larger bubbles with circle and tear drop punches.  Inked the bubbles a little with Close to My Heart ink.  Just cut strips of yellow to add as separation.

Recipe LO: Ma’s Apple Pie

This is my ma’s yummy apple pie recipe!  I used just the apple from the Visual Design by Chris file #CD00331 APPLE FOR THE TEACHER.  I cut the apples out in white and cut off the leaf.   I inked the apples with mauve, red and tea dye Distress inks adding highlights with a white gel pen.  Then I cut the regular leaves in green.  The title is Quickutz Maggie mini and an apple and tear drop punch – inked like the other apples.  Some fun ribbon and pop dotting of a couple of the apples.  Added a bit of white gel pen highlights along the edges of the layout.

Our 2nd Anniversary Party!!

UPDATE: I have placed all my collections on this page for $2.00 a piece in honor of the 2nd year anniversary!! The 15th. A great time to get lots of cuts! There are holiday collections, there are challenge collections, music collection, background collection, and more.. lots of topics covered… 🙂 ..

This weekend should be a fun filled and busy weekend. Invite everyone you can because we are going to party in the forum. Our designers on the “More” team have really raised the bar this year with lots of freebies and offerings and challenges. Just phenomenal. I really want to thank them for helping me thank you, the members of the site, for participating in our forum and really making it so awesome.

The newsletter went out this morning with the “Tour Guide” with some of the items you won’t want to miss.
The forum is starting to load with challenges in the anniversary section. Woohoo!! I am headed over there just now to load mine.  Don’t forget to jump into as many as you can to win the grand prize which is a Western Digital External hard drive to keep all your collected files on.
And we are really looking forward to a great creative time.

Where is Chris?

Here I am. Wow I am looking through our prizes. Watching the designers on the “More Team” put together all their extras and fun stuff for the Anniversary Party this weekend. I am so so so excited!
