The chocolate stash…

Well.. I would have more to post today, but I have serious matters in hand. My son found the hiding place for my stash of Hard Shell Cadbury mini eggs. I am off to defend them and seek out a new hiding place. This one has been good for at least 8 months. Most would not think this is serious, but this is my chocolate we are talking about here! And they are only around at Easter. ahhhhhhh!!!

Our Love

Chris was fabulous enough to allow me a sneak peek at the wedding files that she is uploading for the new QMC. I used the Our Love file for this layout of my husband and I’s wedding. The papers are from DCWV. I just used the words of the file, but there are also mats to go with it as well, but I wanted just the words. It fit this layout a bit more then the matted words did. This is just page one of the album and I will be doing more with the words from the QMC files soon. Thanks for looking! Tricia

Here is my March Sketch Challenge cards and my swap Cards (Yes, I did Seven. I just couldn’t fit them all in the picture nicely. So thank you to Rosalie for hosting such awesome Sketch Challenges in the forum (I can’t wait for April) and thank you to Sarah for hosting the swap!!! Woohooo!!

I am always looking for cards I could put a male twist on. And even tho’ these have flowers I thought they were subdued enough for a Man’s birthday as well. I didn’t put any sentiment on them so they could be used for anything. I hope everyone in the swap likes them!

Album using Tab Album

I have recently had a lot of fun working with Chris’s Tab Album. I used a digital kit of mine and used Chris’s Tab Album to design a quickpage album that I could use over and over again in Photoshop. This particular instance, I used it to show of pictures of our beautiful boxer puppy, Mollie.

Isn’t she sooooo cute!

New Membership opens Apr-Jun… Download Jan-Mar soon!

Hello to all….

I have opened up the new membership early for Apr-June and started uploading files. I spent alot of time today adding members to the section. If you cannot get in and purchased the Apr-June 2009, please email me. It would be quicker if you can send me your order number, but either way I will search it and get you added. I also sent out emails to those who didn’t have a forum registration showing. You have to register at the store and the forum for the new members. If you prefer to use 4shared. You should have downloaded that information upon purchasing. So excited to get rolling! I uploaded 4 files and have two more I have to finish the conversions to scut for. Love when we open a new one. Yeah!! So check the link out and let me know if you have any issues.
And next… If you are a Jan-Mar member and are dragging your feet about downloading. The last day is coming! So get them down and quickly before you run out of time. There are 29 files to download.
And then on to life….

So here is Patches the Puppy. This is a blurry picture but definitely shows how comfy she is with her chew toy on the floor in front of her and the other up on the arm of the chair. ha! She has decided to take over my sons chair. My sister got him this chair when he was little. It is so sturdy and used regularly. In fact right now he is laying across the arms with pillows stuffed in the middle. If I had a camera I would take a picture of it. But here is our patches taking over the chair. She has definitely decided it is hers. We have some wars going on over it lately. And Yes it is a John Deere Chair. wish we could find the guy who makes these. They are great little chairs. heavy duty and stand up to the use!

Spookey Eyes. I hate that, but didn’t have time to fix. My son and his puppy!!

Wrapping up the adventures of the Bunny Rabbit

So many have asked… what happened to the bunny. Well let me complete my story. We decided to put the bunny in a box with some fresh Alfalfa and hay and it nibbled away. So we went to bed. I left the bunny in a box on the dining room table. All safe and sound. My son was so excited to show his cousins the bunny and then I told him we would be having a “release party”. All was good. Until about 4:30 a.m. when my hubby comes in and says. CHRIS…. CHRIS… Chris.. I rolled over and looked down the hallway. The light is shining from behind him so I can’t see his face. My eyes are sleepy. I am in this daze totally and I hear…. in a very loud whisper… THE BUNNY IS GONE. I literally wanted to close my eyes and go back to sleep. But a bunny running in the house. Oh man. Let’s look. So my hubby and I looked everywhere with flashlights for about an hour and half and then gave up. I went back to bed. And we waited for my son to wake up. Then we gave him a flashlight to look under the couches and no bunny. My hubby left for work. and literally I felt like I was in an episode of Without a Trace. the bunny was in a box on the kitchen table. Crawled out through a small circle hand in the box that was at the top. Then jumped off the kitchen table. Or the kitchen table would have had a bunny sitting on it when we got up. So just mentally I kept seeing the bunny sitting on the table and fading. I need a wipe board with a timeline on it. Went to bed at 11:30 Bunny was there and then gone. So all day I looked for the stinking thing every nook and cranny. My relatives came. My son played with his cousin. They went home. I kept looking. Where could it be. It was the size of an orange. where where. My hubby and I were sitting on the couch at about 10:30 that night and we heard it. So now we are sitting and listening intently. And we found it. Wew. So my son hearing the audible silence of the house with all the lights on comes out and we have our much delayed release party and out it goes into the night. What a story that bunny has to tell all it’s bunny friends. And I must say I have 4 dogs in the house at night. Two sleep in the laundry room and two are passed out in the house. Not one of them heard the bunny jump off the table and run around and hide. Time to re-evaluate the employed status of our four legged friends. hahaha. I think they have gone into retirement for sure! Well that is the rest of the bunny story!

Here are a few of the Dance files that are coming to the store. A few of them will be in this coming quarter’s QMC. I just haven’t had a chance to decide which yet. I am not finished with the line. So when that happens I can review for what might be the most used and post it. Always check the store descriptions I am putting QMC File QUARTER 2009 in the descriptions starting with last quarter. 🙂 So always keep an eye out for that. Have a wonderful day!

First let me say. Thank you to everyone who visited the store this past weekend. I greatly appreciate your support! The Dollar Deals were definitely well received so I will have to work them in with my Dirt Cheap Deals and just keep offering the files for a great deal!Thank you thank you!

If anyone in Tucson reads my blog and has been, I would love to know your take on the food. It is quite a drive for me, but I would go.
And then…
Here is a photo of my first flower for the season from about two weeks ago. I walked out one morning on to the patio and there it was just as pretty as could be! Sure made my day brighter. I will be planting flowers next weekend. My son’s birthday party will be in April. So I want to plant just before so they are all nice and perky because at times my green thumb gets a little dried out. And the plants choke a little wooops. I am definitely a gardner who needs a watering system with a timer because I forget.

I am working on a line of Dance, as in Ballet, files. If you have a specific title you are looking for, please email me and let me know. Put Ballet files in the subject so I know right away what it is for. (I am not looking for names really. Just a heads up) I will be loading one or two of these files to the new QMC for Apr-June. I just am not sure which yet. Here are a few quick previews of the ballet files.


Here is the puppy terror in our life. She is growing up quickly for sure. And finally has figured out why she gets thrown outside every time she has an accident on the floor. So we are cleaning up less and less. Although she does still steal toys and hide them in her special spots. We found a treasure trove of army men the other day.
