OSW? What the heck is that? It's a "one sheet wonder" --out of 1 piece of patterned paper,(I used double sided) you make a set of cards. Stampers do this lots, so I thought I'd try using only cutting files-I used some from the challenge and also I used a couple of punches. Besides the card bases I used two sheets of CS, ivory and dk brown, to make my message and mats and "extras". I also used the scraps from the 2 CS to make little punch embelishments. I used chalks, inks, a pink, brown, and lt green Bic pen, a glitter jelly roll and a clear glaze pen. The greetings are all in German, I'm making 3 sets of these for my host families on my upcoming trip to Europe, we are staying in friends/family homes for most of the trip! No, I don't speak German but thanks to my German SIL, I have the correct words. Now if only I could figure out a cool, lightweight box -like envelope to put them in. Anyone have a wpc file for one they'd like to share? Here are my cards. There are five BD, two thank you, two "hello", an anniversary, get well and congrats. I still have pieces left to decorate my envelope-card box.
Thanks for your submission, Ginger

THANK YOU so much for posting this Sheri. So many folks have asked me about what the OSW was in the challenge. :-) I am very curious as to how many cards you can come up with out of the sheet!
This are all beautiful Sheri. Great gifts for your trip!
Enjoy!

Great job with the OSW cards. Not sure if Chris has any? If you go to PT Jan has a few boxes or even a little purse with a flap lid. Or Tina (forever memories for you) has a box type envelope with her cards.
Chris, I had a few ask me what OSW were too. I knew what they were but had not made any. I have a pack of card blanks that I might try.

Thanks everyone for you wonderful comments! I just have 2 more sets to make--I have the pieces cut, just have to get them together, I'm also working on a wedding mini book for my nephew--it's a kit that he and his new bride can put together, I cut titles, embelishments, journal squares, paper etc that they can use as these wish to assemble. So, this weekend you'll find me gluing, chalking, and assembling! Give this a try--it's soo easy with the cutter!

This is what I came up with, Chris! It was so much fun! I really enjoyed it and loved how it came out! Dad liked it alot. He's my strength, and the symbol of the 'Great Oak' seemed appropriate.
BTW.. where can we get some more of those osw files? :D

I just realized I hadn't shown you the photos of the other two sets I made for my hostesses. One told me that they were so pretty she didn't want to send them to anyone, just keep for herself to enjoy! So I think they were a hit, I put them in Lauren Meader's Card coutoure box from Paper Trey ink--I modified the pattern a bit so my dozen cards and envies fit better. I'll try to attach all the photos. I'll do them in small groups

Thanks--they are kinda fun to make, you just cut everything and sit and assemble. I think I'll have to make some in English for my English speaking friends! And no, I don't speak German! My SIL is German and gave me the correct phrases.
