Thanks so much to everyone for participating in Chris's Cutter File Challenge! Everyone did a GREAT job! It seems the Birthday Cake and the Salt and Pepper Shakers were a big hit!
Unfortunately, we had a few that requested the file, but, for some reason, didn't choose to post a submission. Everyone was notified to post a creation by 7/31 (at the latest) or be considered completed for this challenge. This means that the following will not be sent the files to participate in the next Cutter File Challenge:

If you are on this list and feel that you shouldn't be, please feel free to PM myself or Games. Also, I had a few people that contacted me by e-mail, but unfortunately, I don't know your screen name, so please e-mail me your screen name and I will remove you from this list!
Thanks so much!

I got an email today from a lady that told me that basically my files weren’t “worth a dime” and that I shouldn’t be humiliating people with this list. I am not understanding why it is humiliating. It is a list of folks that didn’t complete or email as to why they didn’t complete. In life you make choices. This choice was to request a set of files and complete the challenge. And if you are listed below you didn’t finish or we didn’t even hear from you as to why. Anyone can look through the signup log and see who signed up and then look through the pictures to see who posted. It just means you can’t participate in the next challenge unless between now and then you get a picture submitted. Everyone knows I am always pretty flexible and know that life happens. I have always taken every last minute submission and even last time took a picture the day the next challenge came out because the lady had the files on her computer. And maybe this is why I sent out about 200 links on my last blog challenge and only got about 70 back. So I was gonna quit doing the challenges because it does take time to organize and put them together. I wanted to be taken seriously and not be taken advantage of. So I enlisted some help to try one more time and two members of your forum graciously offered to co-coordinate.
Please also know that for you they may be “free” and nothing I am losing out on. When in fact for me it is time I could have spent with my family which is very precious to as it is to many. It takes a lot of time to build the 60 files offered. 60 because I offer 10 files, I have to come up with them, test cut them and then convert them to 6 different formats recheck them again after conversions. So for you they are free … for me they are something I have worked at and looked at every node and worked hard on to put out there for others to enjoy and the only thing requested is a completion. They may not “cost a dime” to you, but there is also the time involved to upload the files, email out the links for the files, and keep a running track. And this time around it was not just ME that gave of my family time, but an extra couple people now also who have worked hard to keep this organized.
So yes I am sorry you are disappointed if you are on this list. Do I harbor any ill will or bad feelings about it? No I don’t. It is just list of those who didn’t complete and can’t participate next time. I like to do the challenges and offer the files. If I could give away all my files for free I would, but I can’t. I have to have some means to help support my family. I need to either work a part time job or work on files and be creative and support others that are creative.
I just felt the need to post this because I have received a few other emails and I just feel like listening to one more person tell me my files “aren’t worth a dime” is hurtful when in truth all I ask or have ever asked is that if you request them that you finish the challenge. “Commitment to Complete” It is better organized this time around then it has ever been. Thank you to Ginger and Sarah for doing so. Thank you to all of those who have finished and those who couldn’t or didn’t. No biggy. It is just a challenge it is meant to be fun. Skip next time and try again.
Enjoy Life!
Chris
