Here is the first of our weekly challenges posted. I am sponsoring this one for our first go round. I hope many can jump in and have a little fun cutting. I often get told that many become collectors and not users of their machines. I hope this will help you become a user.

Challenge Details:

This weeks challenge is to post a picture of a project with a Halloween theme using any of my files. Post your picture before the 16th.

Those posting by the 16th will get entered in a drawing on the 17th for a $5.00 gift certificate to my section of the store. This gift certificate can be applied to any of my files and also towards the Quarterly Membership Club (certificate expires 12/31/09). There will be one winner of the drawing. Please make sure your PMs are turned on here at the forum so that I can send you the winning details.

I knew he was from somewhere up there but didn't realize it was MN. My friend is from here in Ohio but after getting married moved to his home town, Minnietonka. I'll have to see if she know your hubby's town. ;)

Here is a Halloween-themed ATC I made last year. It uses Chris's Pumpkin with Hat file, which I don't currently see in the store. The background and ghost are from Sam & Hailey Designs. The "boo" is made with letter brads. Thanks for looking!

I love Heather's Star Album. She made this a bit ago and i commented to her that I thought it was awesome. And she mailed it to me! WOOHOO!! A fantastic surprise. I still have it and pull it out at Halloween.

the one i took a pic of i did not like the ghost the one i scanned did not like the letters so did a combination of the two. hopefully this will work.

I've cut the wicked ride file, LOVE IT, can't find the pic I knew I had, can't print because one ink cart is empty on my printer. I might not make it...we have until midnight don't we???? LOL:) I stayed up way late last night getting my stuff organized for the scrapping retreat this weekend. I will be working on an Alaskan Cruise album for my grandaughter...cut files and titles til the wee ours! The AdornIt rep is coming and I think my daughter and I are taking her to Mt. Rushmore Sat. evening. We did that for the QKutz rep a few years ago. FUN FUN FUN.

Great job Pam--I had trouble cutting the face and hair for my card, it just was too tiny when I made the witch fit on 5.5" card--so I just used my pen tool and some metallic markers so it would show up on the black--I think it helps to cut it bigger--but I do love that cute witchy!

I didn't even know about scrap booking when my oldest kids were small, so I have thousands of pages to do. I have been collecting files all year, and I am determined to start putting simple pages together. This challenge got me cutting, and I finally committed to glueing one page tonight. Thanks for giving me the extra push I seem to need!

I hope I got this sized right. So many new skills to master!

Here is a card I made for this challenge since I am running out of time. I was planning to do a layout of my daughter's trip to the Haunted Mill last night, but my 5 yo broke her arm last night so I couldn't work on it and then I came home today from taking my hubby to the airport and found my 13 yo sick. What a day I have had and now I am ready to hit the hay, so this is what I was able to get done.

Lisa,
Glad you got cutting. How fun! If you have to catch up then I think these challenges will help you for sure. And don't forget to check out the sketch challenges because there are files and layout ideas in those threads. There should be lots here to help you catch up. :-) And my biggest help is the form that Angie posted. I use it all the time. You can jot down your idea and story and ideas for a layout and then when you have time or all the supplies together you can sit down and scrap a few pages at a time. I think it is posted under the general scrapping section. A very helpful sheet.
