Do you have a project that showcases a monochromatic layout.. variations of the same shade or color. it is a trendy smile. If you have anything close to monochromatic post it here.
Due by Monday night and winners drawn on Tuesday. I am extending some of these because there are so many challenges. However if you post after Sunday it won't be valid for the grand prize. If you want that grand prize get it in on Sunday.
If you are outside of the U.S. I would be happy to donate you free files from the store in exchange for the winnings. We can work something out if you win.
This prize was donated by Karen our Bingo Hostess with the Mostest!!Thank you Karen.

That is a beautiful page, Pam. Love it. Hunting is such a big part of our men's lives in the Dakotas. Well done!

Thank you, my brothers drive 1200 miles to come hunt on our farm. Well my Houston bro drives farther than that! Season opens Oct 17.

Here is a card (http://www.visualdesignsbychris.com/forum/album.php?albumid=35&pictureid=272) I made 3 years ago, but it has a monochromatic theme. I would hope I can say I've come a long way since then! :~)
Thanks, Margaret

I made this monochromatic card, but then threw in a pop of color with the flowers. Hope it's close enough. :)

The blue sky and water make this picture quite monochromatic. Taken at Cape John, Nova Scotia.

I had to search way back for this one. I have not done a mono layout for some time. I think it's because the new patterned paper is so rich and full of color. The layout is my daughter at 3 months. Rosalie

the photos are from my daughter's wedding rehersal dinner (hawaiian themed with mickey ears...lol) and their wedding. I like the way turning the photos to black and white reinforced the mono-ness....

I rarely do monochromatic, but this is probably the closest I've ever gotten to it. This page is all shades of purple.

I chose purple, too, for a monochromatic layout today. It's my first.
I mixed and mismatched some of Chris' flowers to mimic the girls' tie dying, which was a party activity.

Dropping in here to mention what I like best about everyone's layouts:
paminsd- great use of patterned papper- I love that you added a lot of things but kept so much of the background paper showing
picturemethis- very cute card
KellyS- simple but beautiful
bzyPTmom28- I love the velum cuts you did- they really add a lot to the card
rpceafter- great layout- uses lots of photos
tulip918- I love the college box you did
morgansmom2000- I lover the texture of your papers and how much that added to the layout
joanberrie13- the various shaped photos work together so well on the layout- that is hard to do
scrap_n_angel- I love you bling and buttons
lisaavolio- love that you matched your cuts to your photos

This one pulled post #21 as the winner. Seriously Lisa. I think you were sending me some energy to get your number at top on the random draw website. I hit randomize. Closed my eyes and then opened them and there was your number. hahaha.
Please send me your email address, mailing address and the challenge you won with a PM at the forum. :-)
Have a wonderful day! Enjoy!
