Girl Power, Strong Women, Mothers... Any project you have put together that emphasize a female in your life or in someone elses.

Due by Monday night and winners drawn on Tuesday. I am extending some of these because there are so many challenges. However if you post after Sunday it won't be valid for the grand prize. If you want that grand prize get it in on Sunday.

If you are outside of the U.S. I would be happy to donate you free files from the store in exchange for the winnings. We can work something out if you win.

This prize was donated by Karen our Bingo Hostess with the Mostest!!Thank you Karen.

Scrap_n_angel was the winner of this challenge.

Not really sure if this counts since I don't have the scrapbook, it's in TX. Back in 2002 when my mother was terminally ill, I spent 4 weeks with her creating a scrapbook about our cousin - Mother Kathering Drexel, the first American born saint. I had documents from the 1930's from the motherhouse to my grandfather and then newspaper articles, magazine articles, holy cards documenting her 'journey' to sainthood. The culmination of the scrapbook was the trip my mother and aunt made to Rome for the canonization!

The picture is a bit off, I had to use my phone. Presenting "My Granny", the most amazing Lady in the world, and my best friend! Took this last year, she turned 81.

Thank you! You just gave me the journaling that I needed to complete this layout.

"Growing into your girl power"
This picture is of my dd and she is at that stage of early womanhood where she is just becoming aware of the timeless power women have with their minds, bodies and inner strength. I thought this photo portrayed that rite of passage that all women experience.

Last year, during the Run for the Cure, I took a picture of these two ladies who participated in the run even though one was on oxygen and the other one in a wheel chair - that is powerful!

Popping back in to share my thoughts on the layouts everyone shared:

paminsd- I love the various patterned paper and all the various types of lines you used

cropangel- I love your flower

rpcrafter- I love the texture - it was so strong I felt like I could touch it through the screen

dancewithmarg- I love the way you repeated the flowers from the picture as an embellishment

morgansmom2000- I love the simple way you showed off the pictures- great embellishment without taking the starring role from the pictures

dreamin- I love how the number of frames really make your picture stand out

scrap_n_angel- I love the popped out embellishment- I can see the layers even across the screen

One photos is of my cousin, son, myself, and my Grandmother who is remarkably strong and has come through a lot in the last few years (catching on fire and being in the hospital for months yet is still living on her own, etc.) - she is now 88.

The other is of my Aunt Pat and her mother, my Great-Grandmother (ya-ya) who lived to be 99 and was the first generation born in the US.

These are scrapped, but I can't get to my albums right now with our remodel happening!

Here is a layout of my oldest daughter who is a senior this year and these are some of her pictures. The left page has their class motto which is "Live a Life, Leave a Legacy". We still need to add another picture which we have not got from the photographer yet to the right page and then some journaling. The pics of this layout are not very good, my camera was having issues tonight and so was my photoshop so I couldn't crop them. Sorry.

Mondays are my scrapping day... finished this one up this morning. Finally, it has been on my desk for two weeks and it just needed something. Calling it done. Used VDBC file #CD00578 Ringlet border on the top right as a leaf. Just the right touch.

I received my prize in today's mail. I can't wait to play with the alpha stamps and maybe cut some ice cream party or Easter stuff with the paper.

Thanks again!

P.S. I am in the process of sending out the rest. When i went to send those the lady was so darn crabby and I didn't have the right size box. so i just left. I hope to get the rest boxed up and out beginning of this week.
