well folks I have to say that some of the swaps we did here were just a pure pleasure for me. It was fun to see everyone's work and to get off the computer and creating. I wanted to start a thread that if you think of something you would like to add to the possibles for a swap let me know. Then we can work on them throughout the year. :)
For instance........
I wish I had done a few more tags in the tag swap for wine bottles when we go to a few parties in the next few weekends.
And I really loved the idea of the planner swap and wish I woulda filled just one more spot because I have one more friend who would love them.
And then I would have loved to do a swap for a few themes .. like grandparents... I coulda really put some pictures in and given it away as a gift for christmas.. like a small album..
and my other thought was puppies. I really want to put together some pages for our losses this year but just can't get to where I can.
and also there seem to be some stampers here.. so i thought some stamped images on a set card size would be fun. swapped to eachother.
So your ideas are welcome to help us keep in mind for next years swaps and also... gives those who want to host a swap a chance to look through the ideas and see if they would like to join in.
Enjoy!
Chris
I post this now because I have been thinking about it.

Will try and think about some thing else to swap. Give me a few days, it will come to me. :D

Ooh, I like the idea of the stamped images swap too--'cause once you've done one set lots, you don't tend to use it as much. I did a card candy swap one time, which was fun but even to do an all occasion card swap would be good--especially for sympathy, get well, thank you--to have a bunch at the ready would be great.

I have the perfect set of stamps for that. I bought this because its so hard to find nice stamps for this.
I just got the Justrite stampers set, Thinking of you. (http://www.justritestampers.com/ProductDetail.aspx?productid=JB-08740)
The great thing about stamp image swaps, if you do say 5 one image, then you can color one, color another and use parts of it, to pop dot and layer. I love to do that.

I love all the ideas! And a mini album is one I'm interested in too. My SIL just got her first grandbaby.
Have we done the Card Candy swap here? I know I hosted it at PT. It's another cool one... similiar to the stamped image swap. I've attached some pictures of what one may look like BUT we dont' have to be so fancy samcy with wrapping them up.
Basically each person picks a theme and makes embellishments that can be used on a card or page :D. It's lots of fun.

I would love to do a gift tag swap- I could have used more this Christmas but also in other themes for the rest of the year.
I would say the planner swap would be another one that would be great to do again.
I would have to think about other I would like.

This is all sounding great. Just maybe I will be able to get more done in the new year. That's my plan, any way.

These are all phenomenal ideas and I am open to anyone hosting that may want to. We'll just keep adding to the list and after the holiday crunch I'll pick a few to host myself. :-)
Enjoy!

Oh and I was on another group that does a lot of swaps. One of their swaps they mailed right to the participants because they fit in an envelope. I am pretty sure it was a stamped image swap. So everyone mailed directly to the participants. seems there were five in each group and they took about 2 stamps a piece. I thought this was an interesting way to do it to.
Honestly I think they just love to go to the mailbox too. haha.
just throwing out ideas.

I would love to host a round robin type of swap. I have about a month off from school so any swap i join has to be in that time frame.

The planner swap was my first to participate in (online)-- and I was so excited! Felt like a kid again. Truly enjoyed it! So count me in on these. Like Chris said, it gets me off the pc and being creative. :D
During the season..a friend posted, on FB, her version of a paperbag mini album. I really liked it and she posted the instructions--easy cheesy! I made 7! And they were a hit, for Christmas. I just love the feel of the papersack, anyways, and to be able to use it for photos, all decorated... loved it!
I'll get pic of one up here. You ladies may already know what they look like, but it was new to me, and may also be for others.

Here's a few pages of one that I haven't completed for myself...need to tie ribbons to the rings... but it gives you idea. You use 4- (large) lunchsacks, brown or white...stack alternately, sew in middle, fold over, punch holes for
rings/eyelets (hmmmmm. maybe even bind it all, for those that have one)- Decorate!! It's versatile too, can do birthday, wedding, etc. Once its folded- 6x6 paper fits perfectly for backgrounds.
*Forgot to mention, that the open ends are good to keep extra pics/souvenoirs, etc.
