The holidays are here and my challenge to you is to come back here and share some of your cheer. Whether you celebrate Hannukah, Christmas, Kwanza or anymore...

Please post your favorite picture from this years holidays 2009...
It can be anything from your favorite decoration, the family sitting at the table, your grandchild opening a gift, anything...

I'll draw a winner at the end by random for a gift certificate to my section of the store for $5.00, but I think we will all be winners by sharing our cheer.

You can enter the drawing as many times as you'd like. I will look for posts with pictures and enter those post numbers in the drawing.

Just found this pic I took last week when I was making cards...taking a break...the foam on my cappuccino was just right and so pretty. This is decaf and skim with no flavor, just a dusting of cinnamon on top. My favorite holiday pic right now! LOL

Our dog sleeps under our tree - lol. I need to try and get a picture of that.

Here are 3 of my favorites so far this year. the first are 3 of the 2 year olds in my Sunday School class - isn't that an adorable picture? I took it last Sunday. the next is an ice cream cake someone brought to our Adult sunday school Christmas party and the last is our tree.

OOoh, all of these are so cute--I love Lori's 4 footed kids--and the cat under the tree and the lil' kids--I have to take some photos--my furry babies like to get under the tree-and chew holes in the bows--Meow!

Love all these photos. Going to share a few of mine...
Christmas in our state park... It was in today's paper the big snow storm we had over the weekend knocked down 100s of trees in the park and the light show has been cancel. This just breaks my heart. We don't have a lot of things like this close by and then this happens. :( I am so happy we went last week.

DH and I are on our own this Christmas as Nicholas has gone to Sydney to spend Christmas with his big sister and BIL. Doesnt real feel like Christmas here, but this is my favourite pic from last year. Rebekah and Chris came to visit us just before Christmas last year, it was wonderful to have them here.

So every year we do our "memorial baking" with our kids. I forgot to take photos of "Aunt Lora's sour cream sugar cookies" but remembered when we were making "Grandma's peppernuts" (DH mother's recipe, she passed about 13 years ago). My DH is "training" the kids in the whole process. We even make some out of GF flour--they are tiny and tough but very flavorful. And yes, everyone has to wear aprons!

My DD and I made, Peanut butter cookies, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Oatmeal cookies, Chocolate covered Peanut butter balls, and Chocolate covered Pretzels. Oh year, 8 loafs of Banana nut bread. All in 2 days, Glad thats over with. LOL!

Now have to get it all out of the house, LOL!

Hmm sounds like the 2 little men I use to watch. I'll never forget going outside to do something and when I turned around there they where standing on my deck peeing it the flowers below. Good thing it was out back and not the front porch. I heard they liked the front porch at home. Funny thing is dad's a highway patrolman. :eek:

The best part of the holidays for me is that my parents, brother, husband and kids always go away on a family trip over Christmas and New Years, so we are always together as a family.

Well, we did lots of cookies... but I think that my son got 3 cookies frosted and I did the rest! The reindeer was his masterpiece (can you tell that it's Rudolph?), and probably took an hour!

My daughter loved the sprinkles... and had completely green hands and everything else!

We did not have them put their hands on my belly or anything, they just suddenly surrounded me and did it - pretty cool!

We've already had someone want to buy our snowblower...we haven't used it in years...and when we did it was to blow sunflower seeds all the way back in the quonset storage bldg.! LOL That's what we bought it for...but now we know how awesome it is for snow LOL...son made a $100 from one neighbor, he refused, but they insisted, he felt way overpaid! LOL Bitter cold here today.
