Well I have been hinting all over. Today a new weekly challenge starts.

This one is to publish something using one of my files with a Valentine theme.

I will list the prize later... but wanted to give everyone lots of time.

So any of my files.. any type of project.. but a valentine theme!!

Here is one using the sketch challenge (sort of), using Chris' file for the flourish. So it works for two challenges I guess. Can I repost the Valentines I did a couple weeks ago if they are using your files?

Her'es a couple using the Happy Valentine's Day card file and another quick flourish card. Also wanted to share the Target mailboxes I decorated tonight, didn't use Chris' files on them though.

Used Bo Bunny papers, the funny bird was cut with my Silhouette, I had over $100 on account to spend , had it for several years, now they are finally making good stuff, but not nearly as good at here! So I have tons of QK files in GSD, wish I could convert them all to WPC. Would that be legal?

wow, Every one posted such beautiful cards. I admire yall getting so much done.

I might have to squeez in a card for DH. This week.

Pam, what is the pattern paper used at the top of your first card, the long skinny one. Love that paper. As for converting those file. to WPC. You can for your own use. But you cant share them.

I guess we love this theme. Everyone has done such beautiful work! Thanks to Chris and the rest of you for the inspiration.

I made a card from CD00650. I was dismayed to see I had used Chris' original colors when I looked at the photo to be sure I was aligning the cuts correctly, but at least my idea was a little different. I do not like to copy!

I made one of the little CD00651 boxes and added a ribbon handle.

Finally, I decorated a cookie tin using white Contact brand vinyl for my youngest son's teacher. I cut a fancy heart from CD00652 for the top, and the teacher's name, and a couple of star flourishes from DD028_StarFrameBorder for the sides. With almost 3' of snow on the ground and another 10-20" predicted for tomorrow night, I doubt if he'll get to give it to her until next week. I'm just thankful we have electricity and a clear driveway for the moment.

Since Pam asked about including projects from the challenge a couple of weeks ago (which she won, I might add), I thought I'd include mine here, too.

Here is my card. I used Chris's heart border strip from CD00659. I combined this with the Feb sketch challenge too. The scallop is from the sketch challenge. I just had to use this lion paper though. It is soooo cute. The metallic heart paper and the lion paper are from a paper pack by K& Company.

Here is my second card using the same file. I tried cutting velvet paper so it isn't as smooth as I would have liked it to be, but it is OK.

Thanks for the comments. The label is #5. However, the white part was the largest size and I needed something larger for a mat. I scanned a cut out of the label and then traced it in "Make the Cut" and cut it out.

Well I finished my project, it was fairly easy and I LOVE the results. I cut the design out of vinyl and layered it.
Here is a before and after pictures.
I used VDBC file #00550

What a long day--and of course when it rains it pours--came home to the large mirror starting to fall off the wall in the Master BR! Ugggh! So, here's one card, I did a quick treat bag when DD was home a couple of weeks ago but didn't embelish it, I've made a couple more but they aren't quite dry yet.
Sorry it didn't photograph too great, got home too late to do it under better conditions. I used bling paper, stickles and the ribbon does really match the pink, it's a velvet textured one.

WOW, this is awesome, my lucky day. Thanks everyone for the big pat on the back. My DBF, Chris, has no idea the valentine bucket is for him, he thinks I made one for my daughter and one for my son, BUT I had already sent my son his present :)

Congrats Elisabeth--my real name is Sheri. I used Bazzi'ls bling paper for the outside, I used a light pink that was from the recollections Valentine paper and the white shiny was actually a marker/pen paper that is a bit shiny--I think I found that on clearance somewhere, since I mailed the card I didn't want it too heavy. Glad you like it!
