was thinking we could do a microbead challenge in April. If anyone has any ideas for a sponsor or place that would either A) sponsor the challenge or B) offer a reallllly good deal on getting them

and/or some tips and helpful info on how to use them. I am open to ideas and thoughts.

Let me know.
Enjoy!
Chris

This is interesting--I've got a ton of these, picked 'em up at the CK conventions years ago and never used them! I should--hmm, but what does one do with them? I know when we purchased them we also got some sticky tape shapes, I wonder what adhesive would work, if you could cut a shape with our cutters and then use glue and microbeads--or does it take that red backed sticky tape? Hmmm--I still have to finish the challenges due this week though--just got back into town after a 4 day weekend, family reunion action--I waved at Chris as I passed through Tucson! It was a 6 1/2 hour drive--oooh, I hate those long drives!

Don't feel bad Caz! I've never used them either. ;) I have used seed beads and glass beads. Those in the link look similar but mine had the hole.

Martha stewart makes some. So if you have a walmart, You can get them in the scrapbook section.

I think I might have some, but never used them.

I used to sell these when I sold German imports years ago. I have several quart sized ziplocs full. They are also called Venetian Dew. You can use any glue that works great with thick glitter--the Ultimate Glue works nicely and so does PDA glue (aka Elmers)...Clear Dimensionals, diamond glaze, etc also as well.
PS I had never seen the Metlstampz place--omg--lol
I really need to get my head out of my craft la la room--and visit these blogs! If only there were time to do both!

Kitty. I don't think being in the craft room is a bad thing :-) In fact, I wish I could be in there just a bit more :)
