Here is my layout for this challenge. I have used CD00520-Ribbon3, CD00557-Bone Jumble and CD00685-Beloved Pet for this layout. These are some pics of our gorgeous boxer, Mollie!
I also used a couple of the files from the sketch challenge files :)

yes she found a King Brown snake (very poisonous) in our back paddock and bailed it up til we came to investigate all the barking! I am not nearly as worried about snakes now as I figure she will find them first :) (I hope!)

You know, the next day Austin (cat that comes in and out the doggy door) brought me a snake. Not in the house! We were outside and he came running with it hanging out each side of his mouth meowing. He was so proud! Wish I had a camera. Oh, it was only a young garden snake. Hubby took it to the ditch. I have to talk to him about this snake thing, I don't want them in my house too.

Yes, Elizabeth, the svg is the easiest version to use with a Cricut and MTC (or SCAL). I now know to save AI versions as well, but svg is the easiest.

Here's my monthly challenge, using Chris' file CD00544 Baby Loading. I am currently working on a Baby album for my daughter as a gift at the upcoming shower we are giving her to fill in with pics as she goes. And this challenge just fit right in! Thanks Rosalie & Chris! =) Background sheet is from Creative Imaginations (Sonnet). The stamps are from a baby set and one of my first sets, I got somewhere online, can't remember whose they are (forgot to keep sheet when placing them in the CD case). Now I know to save it! Ha! I had so much fun doing this and I think it turned out really cute.

I made a scrapbook page for this month's sketch challenge featuring my son, Alex, in his bunny suit on Easter day. You can see it in my album (http://www.visualdesignsbychris.com/forum/album.php?albumid=37&pictureid=674). I turned the sketch on its side to be able to use my photos in their original orientation. The easter eggs are from Shelly's Art. The title is from Chris - Just as Cute as a Bunny (CD00223). The photos were actually inspired by the file. I have had the file for awhile, and when my mother gave me the outfit earlier in the year, I knew I would be using the file for my Easter layout. Thanks, Chris! I love this file. It was just perfect.

Here's my layout for the April challenge - Easter 2010 (http://www.visualdesignsbychris.com/forum/album.php?albumid=5&pictureid=675).
I used the scallop cut from the challenge file. I cut it from two different colors then overlaid it. I also used the torn paper cut from last August's challenge file. It is one of my favorites to cut for journaling. The two Swirly eggs are from Sam and Hayley Designs (JB00411) at www.Paperthreads.com. I used Bazzil & cardstock and Petallics Paper. The crucification charm is from www.acharmingplace.com. The journaling is hard to read because I printed it on Petallics paper and it came out very light, plus my scanner bed needs cleaning - lol. Thanks for looking.
Here is the journaling:
John was diagnosed with migraines his first semester of ninth grade. He had one a quarter that year and a couple over the summer. I didn’t think he was having anymore when I took him for a physical February 22 of his tenth grade year. When the doctor asked about the migraines John said he was still having them. In fact, the most recent one had just happened a few weeks prior. The very next week he got one immediately after he got up in the morning. It only lasted a couple of hours and he was able to go into school late. The next week on Wednesday he got another in the morning but it lasted until mid-day. I called the doctor this time because he needed a refill on his medicine. They wanted to see him again for a re-evaluation. He had one every day the rest of the week and the next week and the next. They became chronic.
So what does this have to do with Easter?
Well, Easter weekend we decided to try letting him sleep until he woke up on his own on Saturday morning. He decided that meant he could stay up as late as he wanted, so he didn’t go to sleep until 3:00am. He finally woke up at 2:45PM. A migraine set in soon after and he went back to bed until 8:30PM. Now he had his days and nights mixed up so we told him he had to stay up all night and all of Easter Sunday so he could get back on a normal sleeping schedule. He LOVED the idea because he knew he wouldn’t get a migraine if he didn’t go to sleep and he could go to Sunrise service and see all his friends at church. He made it with no trouble. He watched Saturday Night Live episodes on-line all night. And Easter Sunday he took two 30 minutes naps with no migraines. He was one happy boy!

I remember that LO, Sandra. Thanks for showing it again.
I just made my version. I used the notebook paper file from the January sketch files, a butterfly from CD00415 Butterfly Packet because it matched the paper so well, and the scallop from this sketch. It seemed a shame to tear away the notebook paper edges when it had cut so cleanly!
I haven't glued the notebook paper yet, because I'm afraid I may mess up on my journaling, which isn't even planned yet. Got to get this posted before the deadline!
