Weekly Challenge April 13-21 "Letting the Cat out of the Bag" [Archive]

We are kicking off next weeks "Show us your grab bag" a little early. So this one is called "Letting the Cat out of the bag" LOL!

What that means is. You have a few extra days go post your creations using the files in the April Grab bag. (NOT the files them selves. Just what you have made with them.)

This will start giving every one a sneak peak of what is inside.

This will run from today April 13 to Next Wed April 21 and we will pick one winner on Thursday 22. And your prize will be next months (May Grab bag). I have seen some of those files and Its a must have for sure. So get busy.

I love all the grab bags so far and I hope to play after today. I have to go judge a fireman's queen contest. Should be fun! I hope everyone gets creating with the April Grab Bag. ;)

so ready for that strawberry shortcake! My gf came in from OH a couple weekends ago, and stopped at Frischs on the way, and brought in one of their strawberry pies, for which they are so famous! It went one round between all of us.. I need more! Ha!

The way we make is, its really light and moist like a cake, and it taste awesome with come cream cheese frosting on top. Yum!

Great job on those recipes--I still don't know what cherry fluff is--hey Sharon, didn't you promise the recipe? I just got home from work and I'm starving--and DH won't be home for dinner 'cause he has choir practice. Bummer, I can usually con him into cooking for me since he has a desk job and I have a "run my buns off" kinda job.

Yes, I was going to give it to you. But check Caz recipe, that is the one we make.

I have also tried it with vanilla pudding instead of the condensed milk and its still pretty good.

My MIL makes one with Mandarin oranges, and makes another with pistachio pudding. Oh man, that one is my favorite.

I cant find my Recipe swap I did for my Banana nut cake, The picture must be on the old computer. Or I will just have to take another one.

And you know, I got to looking at the file. And Seen, I did change the file it self to not have cake, but bread as I think most will use that. But I forgot to change the name of the file. Sorry about that.

Oh man, Every time I think about that, I want some. Hey Weekend coming up. Good excuse to have Cake, LOL!

Our strawberry season is done here. We ate our fill. Jill and I picked some across the street last week, and she made jam the other day, Oh man, its good, I forgot my jar at her house, So have to go back and get it.

So now its Nana time. LOL.

Oh I'm sad--I've been at the convention all weekend, had guests, will have more guest stuff on Tues, Dr's apt tomorrow and have to work long days Wed and Thurs--guess I won't be able to do my project! But they are great files to do--we'll see how it goes tomorrow, I have to make an anniversary card and get that out too.

Well, I think this is a grab bag file from Darcy. I cut it just for fun and really like it. It's hanging on the door knob, think I'll send it to my DD. If I find my coffee shop pics I'll make a layout soon.:)
