Okay some folks stuck stamps to the envelopes already but the envelope is not near large enough and/or I am worried about them getting damaged because it is so packed tight.

Does anyone know if I can cut the front of the envelope off and attach it to a bigger envelope. or cut the stamp strip off and attach just that to another envelope?

I would rather folks not get them damaged and disappointed. so i am gonna go buy some extra envelopes.

Just thought I would ask thoughts.

I havent heard back from one in this swap. They are all swapped and all but three are in envelopes to send back.

So just your thoughts.
Thank you.

And those who emailed me and recommended I do the ziplock bag method to keep it all straight. Wow thank you. You were right.

Have a wonderful day and thanks for the input.

Enjoy!

Yes, you can cut the front of the address part off and reattach to another, you can also do that with the new stamps. just have to make sure they are attached well.

You know actually, they do better in tight envelopes. If the envelop is to big. the corners have a tendency to bend. I like to ship in a tight envelope. But that is just me.

Back to cleaning the work shop.

Chris, if you have a piece of cardboard to put in the envelope it helps keeps it stabilized. (I did that alot with the recipe swap.)
And, yes, I sympathize with you on the swapping...with the recipe swap, I tried to make sure that no one got their own back (unless it was unavoidable) and that everyone got a good variety (when more than one person made the same dish)....trust me, there was a lot of grumbling and switching and checking the list...LOL!

I layed all the ziplock bags out in a row with their names in them. Then I opened them and put their card underneath the baggie. Then I started shufflying. Card One went in two three four and five. Card Two went in three four five and six. So that part wasn't to bad. just a bit of checking. I was for fear that I had one missing and would have to shuffle. haha.

However the envelopes has me messy, but i think I should be able to cut the stamps and envelope and attach it to a padded envelope. We shall see.

I just love them all so want everyone to see them and be happy. woohoo!
Enjoy!

I hope I wasn't the culprit..hahaha, sounds like something I would do. I love hostessing swaps but do have a hard time shuffling them around sometimes.
