I'm a little early this month, I hope you don't mind. I will be scrapping with some friends tomorrow for National Scrapbook Day and I thought you might be as well. So, I wanted to share a little inspiration.

This month I encourage you a make a few Mother's day cards.

Crystal has given us a cute border, title and butterfly to create really cute cards. The sketch is provided by Becky Fleck of PageMaps (http://www.pagemaps.com/)

I have a request.... when posting the sketch for the month's challenge, could you please post where (month/year) you took the sketch. I am having problems trying to make out this month's sketch (eyes not being what they were) and as I download all Becky's sketches and have done for yrs, I could look it up myself if I knew where to look. Sorry to be a pain!

WOW! All yalls cards are coming out so nine. Love the color combination.

Caz, Im the same way, I downloaded and printed over 600 of beckys sketches when I first started. I seperated them by how many pictures on in the sketch. So if im working with pictures, I just flip to that page and can choose from a sketch.


I will get it out and post it in a new thread.

Here is my card. I have designed a Mother's Day card using some of the files supplied by Crystal. I have also used my "Washed Out" digi kit. I have added textures and styles to the Cutter files to add dimension!

Here is my card for this challenge. The digital is Dustin Pikes, I did the hinged method for print and cut. I used the scallop circle that was provided,the border is a border punch, button with thread and gems. Thanks for looking! :D

Here is my card for this month's challenge. I used the scalloped circle provided by Crystal and used my pen tool to make the interior dashed lines. I created the scalloped border in KNK Studio GE. The butterfly is from FileKutz by LisaJane (Spring Butterfly Tully). There are also several brads and buttons used for embellishment. Thanks for taking a look!

I just used the scallop, outlined it, already had the butterfly cut (Silhouette), and these scraps...got this far and called it DONE, I love this paper, it's BG Porcelain/Villeroy from last year. I'm giving it to my DIL for her birthday next week.

Next on the agenda--plan DD's college grad party, help her get her "stuff" organized and prepare for a class I'm taking in June, I have to read a long and complicated book for it.
