I took one of the Tropical Tags (CD00717), put it into a dream cloud and combined it with the Laid Back file (CD00718) to make this card. Chris, I just love this sleepy guy.

I immediately thought of these pictures when Chris posted the voting for the Chess files.
I used both CD00707 and CD00709 in this LO.

Thanks everyone. The chess set was at a movie theater in San Antonio, Texas. We were playing it while waiting to see Alice In Wonderland in 3D. I thought it was a great idea to entertain people while waiting.

Well, I don't have my photos printed yet, so I thought I would cut several of the files, scan them, and turn them into hybrid pages. Trouble is, I am just beginning to learn digital scrapbooking. I'm going to a class next week, but for now, I am FRUSTRATED and stopping for the night.
I got this one part way to what it should be, but the others are not cooperating at all.

This one will eventually have photos of our visit to the Sheep and Wool Festival. I need to cut Chris' other sheep and sheepdog files for a 2nd page about the demo of the dogs working the sheep, but those files are from an earlier membership.
I was impressed with how cleanly this one cut, even with tiny parts. I embossed the wooly part for fun.

For these, I am not going to go digital. I will wait and glue them onto pages once I get my prints- of my son's graduation and of the ocean in Haiti. At least I got started on the pages! But it's too easy to plop the grad frame over a photo. I may even make a bigger frame for my niece's grad. photo.

Nice Lisa. Busy little bee you are. ;)
I made 2 cards using that grad file with a digi (grad girl and a ducky, nickname) but I forgot to take photos before I mailed them. Cost me extra 40 cents to mail, sheesh! They looked cool, sorry! Not an entry but wanted to share my story. BTW the file cut great after I got a different brand of paper. :D Thanks Chris!

I hope I'm not too late on this one--I used Chris' laid back file, a sleeping kitty from scrap saavy and my own welded title to make this Dad's day card. My hubby is a big fan of cats and we have a little black kitty that loves to nap! I used Chris' circle card for the base.

Chris, did I miss it, or did you party too much on your birthday and forget to do the drawing for this challenge?!
Please post the winner before we all buy the next QMC! :D But finish that last file for us first, pretty please. No pressure. ;)

I am learning. I took several EXCELLENT digi classes on Fri. and Sat. from http://www.thedigitalscrapbookteacher.com/
at the N. Virginia GASC show-
http://greatamericanscrapbook.com/Show.aspx?ShowId=21
and totally missed your QMC giveaway! I also missed getting a class with Becky Fleck- someone shipped the kits to Texas, so all we got to do was meet her and get a refund, with a promise that we'll get kits (free) plus instructions in a month or so. :(
I am using Photoshop Elements. Very fun. But I am forcing myself to organize my files first, before diving into making pages. They claim it will pay off to have all my files organized... but it is a pain. The plus is that I will have all the jpg's of my cutting files organized and maybe even tagged if I do it right, but that would be weeks from now.

Have you ever used Tumasfot Preset viewer 2.0. http://www.tumasoft.com/
Really helps with those who are dieing from non-organization
and you can use most of the files from cutters in Elements.
There was a coupon here in the forum, but i don't know if it is still valid.
I can see if we can get another if you are interested.
Have fun!

Thank you everyone, especially Chris for creating such fabulous files to work with. I was fretting about getting the next QMC and the free files since I am on vacation and wasn't sure I would have internet access. Well, brilliant hubby figured out how to tether thru the cell phone. So this is great. Was just getting on to see how to get the coupon and get my QMC ordered when I found out that I won. HOW COOL is that?! Now I just hope my hubby wins tomorrow at his international barbershop chorus competition.
Thanks again and I hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of the July. I have been in Philly all week and am total inspired by what a great nation we live in and how awesome our forefathers were when they created it.
God bless the USA,
Renae (aka rpcrafter)
