All Ocassion Tag Swap!

Details: Ok ladies. Let's get this party started with a tag swap. I was thinking that this would be an all occasion swap. Below you will find a list of holidays and topics. Select as many as you want. You will make one for each person in your group. That is why I will be keeping the groups small. All tags must be embellished at least 3 times. Minimum size will be 5" long by 2-1/2" wide. They can be bigger if you like.. These will be great embellishments for layouts, cards, presents, etc. Please package each group in it's own bag labled with your name and your group. Please also sign your work on the back ladies! We want to be able to give the proper credit when we use your fabulous work. When sending in please send the amount of postage plus two extra stamps to cover the return back to you. I am making this a July 1st due date, so everyone who is new to swapping, or likes to take their time can get their work in.

I was thinking a minimum of 5" long by 2-1/2" wide. Here is kinda what I was imagining when I was thinking of tags. They should be embellished at least 3 times, but preferably more if possible.

This is a creation of another ladies from another website. Just wanted to give you an idea of how they should be embellished.

Perfect. Now I will have to think on the categories. I am revving up for the end of year holiday gifts. I want to give homemade as much as possible this year. So have to think on how and what I could give them for. :-)

Tag Files would be awesome! That way they can use your designs if they want. Really fun shapes would be awesome. I was thinking of trying round tags etc.

Okay Folks I have been thinking about this... I would really like to do the fall thanksgiving group, but I know it is at 3. If that doesn't work Tricia let me know. I know you said you might be able to expand each group by maybe one more. If this is doesn't not work well with the others in the group. I'll skip it. (or the winter holidays one.. either would work for me)

And the other one I am thinking.. is the beach/bbq/summer one. If you can sign me up for those two.

Unless I hear otherwise from others we can still call this a go. If need be I can move the due date. I didn't realise that July 1st was coming this fast. :) I plan on starting mine today. I want to at least get the tags cut out. I am hoping I have a cutter file for these :) much faster :)

Ok since we all forgot this was coming up let's move the date to the last day of July. This will give everyone time to think of and design their creations and mail them in. I started these, but extra time would be awesome for me. and I know Chris could use it. :)

I love the idea of the tags for on gifts I don't want to wrap or hostess gifts for when I go to parties. I am excited to get back and work on these. Thank you for hosting.

OK ladies I am so far behind on these. I am just now cutting the tags out. I was working on art for them, but not sure how it was going to turn out so I may have to just toss those ideas out the door. I will have to see. But I will be done by the 31st so I can mail these back. I have the whole week free next week to work on these. Today I am cutting the tags and getting them ready for assembling. Wish me luck.

I stayed up late the last couple nights and got the tags and the recipes done, YEA for me! I will try to get them in the mail today. Just in time, I think we are starting the wheat harvest today FINALLY, it's late this year. I have to cook BIG during harvest since the guys work long hard days...weather permitting. Maybe I'll get some harvest pictures soon, and post them here for you to see this part of our lives, it's what we work all year for. We have a fall harvest too. I don't walk my gravel road during harvest time, too many trucks on the road.

WHEW!! I'm glad you like them! I have been stressing over these tags! It's funny, cause I don't think twice about a card or recipe...I think the word "tag" threw me! Finally I just decided to treat them like mini cards! ;)

Actually that tag wasnt mine. i found it onm a website when i was looking for an example of what they should be somewhat like, and i zeroed in on that one. Belive me mine fell way short of that, but I had no creative drive when the time came to do these. I am hoping to get that creative drive again and start scrapping soon. I think almost 200 pictures on order should help somewhat :-)

Ok ladies everything is swapped out and repackaged and ready to go. I had the grandbaby today so I was unable to go to the post office. I will be heading there tomorrow morning to drop these in the mail back to you.
