Hey all! Since there seems to be alot of interest in a recipe swap, I'd figure I would host one!

I'm doing a poll to help determine if you would rather do a monthly series of recipe swaps or just limit the number of people and do a one time.

Here's the choice:
monthly series -- we would do a different category each month (appetizers, side dishes, main course, desserts, drinks or whatever categories we decide).

one time swap -- we would do the same categories, just limit the number of people to 2 or 3 per category so you would have to do either 10 or 15 of whatever you signed up for (if we used the categories above).

Only ever done one online with family and friends. But we just emailed to one person by a date and then they made sure everyone that submitted a recipe got all the recipes back. Hope that made since.

How would this one work. online or making a page?

I was thinking of making a 6x6 page with a recipe...so you would make the required number of recipe pages (all alike) to me, I would swap them out and mail them back. Sorta like this one...

Sarah,
I am going to post about this in my weekly newsletter to the yahoo group to see if we have any more interested folks to poll. :-) I'd love to have a few 6x6 recipe books for gifts for christmas
Enjoy!

I would like to do this but I can't make a commitment to anything due before July- I have too many other things. If you do them earlier I wouldn't love being in a second one.

Lisa, I will definitely e-mail you when we decide what we are doing and when it will be due!

Rebecca, I'm not sure yet even HOW we are going to do them...although so far the consensus is a monthly swap! So, even if you miss the first, you could still join the rest of them!

THANKS to everyone who has shown an interest! I've got the poll scheduled to close next Wednesday (4/29) and then I'll go with the majority on how to proceed! We'll do sign ups for a couple of weeks and then start cooking! :-)

Hey guys.. been out of the loop again.. Busy week with the kids. Today I rec'd the swaps with the cards. I would love to do this swap, but at this time I am just too busy.

Maybe next month I will look at hosting something. ;)

I enjoy ATC's too.

I hope everyone is doing good. :)

I would probably be in on this. I have a 6x6 CTMH album I've made in to our favorite recipes book. I like the smaller size because it's easier to embellish and doesn't take up a ton of cabinet space when I drag it out to cook.

Count me in! I've done a recipe swap before (8 1/2 x 11) and was VERY pleased with how everyone's recipes came out.

Count me in too, I kept thinking I would be too busy, but I know I'll be disappointed later if I don't join this swap.
