when I look out in the world I "see" cutter files. and my hubby... he knows when I am "seeing" one.. he will smile and says.. Cutter File? I will just nod in silence as I process it in my head. The corners, the nodules, how to make it less cuts for ease of use. Oh I love it. (thank goodness he is such a wonderful man he understands) to cut that first test cut and have it pull up off the mat without any hickies or issues. I can almost hear the angels sing.. then I realize it is my little one's voice.. mom.. MOM>>> MOM>> MOM.. and off I go to my other addictions and loves in life.. my family ... my hubby. . my kiddo .. our home... etc... . So this is what I saw this morning that made me think Cutter File. How about you? what makes you "see" cutter files?
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HfPYShbE29s/SgmpMEHPfeI/AAAAAAAAFeI/XrjPdNobSSQ/s320/cocacolacans.jpgI can't drink soda anymore because of the bubbles. But these are the summer cans for Coca Cola (this is where I say.. Coca-cola is a trademark and I have nothing to do with it and am not affiliated with the company, but just wanted to show their cool new can designs) Anyways. I saw them and thought wow those are cool. wonder if you couldn't make a cutter file along some of the same principles. I like the simple clean designs.
That is it for my ramblings today. I am off to work on some files. setup the dollar deals for next weekend and do some accounting. Have a wonderful day!!
enjoy!
Chris

I used to be Pepsi girl. Could drink about 4 or 5 a day.
Since the doctor showed me how the bubbles can expand your stomach to no end and mine is sewn into position with permanent stitches. I can drink any.
He made me gulp a mouth full of soda and hold there. Then wait a few minutes and feel the pressure building in my mouth. then told me to spit it out and see all the "fizz" that was building and will continue to build and stretch your stomach out. Gives you room to eat more. Which I don't need as well.
so that was my last day of Pepsi. I came home from the appt. Sat down with a big glass of ice and Pepsi and drank the whole thing slowly and enjoyed every single drop. And it was my last one.
It is soooo hard to go places and find flat drinks. For instance my Mom never has anything flat or my in-laws rarely have anything. And most large events have soda on tap or warm bottles of water. So I have taken to carrying around those little crystal light packages and dumping them in the water. Or buying a cup of ice, adding warm water and crystal light.
My Mom just had lapband surgery. She talked to the support group people and talked about how and why I didn't drink soda. They told her the same thing and that most docs won't tell you it doesn't affect your stomach when it comes to dietary surgery because it ensures returning clientele. If your stomach stretches you will need another fill or another surgery kinda thing. ridiculous.
So I am always prepared with Crystal Light on the go packs. I have no desire to pop those permanent stitches.
Well that is my rambling moment.
Sorry about that.
Enjoy!

I am proud of you Chris :) I rarely drink soda and if I buy one I NEVER finish it. I am a tea gal, give me my southern sweet tea any day.

Iced tea no sugar gal here, so refreshing, and water, and decaf coffee, can't handle real coffee anymore, breaks my heart!

I bet it was Chris.
Pam, I don't sweeten my tea as they do in the south...lol I have cut way back on my sugar intake. I am not suppose to have coffee but I am having a hard time giving it up. I did cut back though.

My mom drink one can of diet dew a day. But se waters it down. I say it is more like water and ice with a shot of diet dew.
Hey Chris I just seen a cookbook on TV but what caught my attention was they said it had some gluten free recipes. I thought of you. It was on CBS, an actress name started with M and I can't remember the name. Maybe someone else saw it. I'll keep an eye out.

The name was Mariel's Kitchen. This is Mariel Hemingway the actress's cookbook. When I seen her on TV she said GF recipes. Hope this helps.

Thanks Games--I need GF as well, I looked at the website but it looked like they are selling the book and didn't mention GF--just healthy. It seems since Elisabeth Hasellhoff was on many TV shows last week, talking about celiac and GF diet, it's being talked about alot--which is good. Maybe it will help all the wait staff who tell me "oh, we have white bread too!" when I explain I can't eat wheat! Well, duh! But many things are naturally GF, I can eat lots of eggs, but some places put pancake batter in their egg dishes to make them "fluffy". That's why it's better to ask first and not pay later!

Absolutely! I have a friend that is allergic to whey. So I see the same thing you are talking about.
The link was just for selling the book. I just figured if you seen it you might find it locally.

Lori,
I totally understand!! I LOVE MY SWEET TEA!!!
I grew up on sacharine sweetened tea...until I met my DH! His mom is from NC and she had REAL sweet tea! TRUST ME, there IS a difference! Now, it's southern style sweet tea for me!!! (I don't know what I'm going to do once I have my bypass surgery....go into withdrawals???? Although Equal is a good for cold stuff!)

That is a great LO, I don't make my tea that way, to me it would be SUPER sweet...lol
I only use 3/4 to 1 cup of sugar for a gallon.

OH MY WORD - that would be some sweet tea . I grew up drinking iced tea - 3 meals a day - lol. I hated milk. Now I drink diet coke but know I should give it up :(. I still drink tea too but use splenda or equal in it or fill up my cup 3/4 way with unsweetened and top it off with sweet. That's usually enough in a restaurant to make it sweet - lol.

I agree with you Sandra, although I can not use spenda, it gives me a headache, when out at a resturant, I ask them to do half and half, this way it is not to sweet but not feel as though i am cheating myself..bahahahahahahaha

I do the 1/2 and 1/2 thing or I tell them 3/4 tea, 1/2 lemonade (a lighter Arnold Palmer) drink. My son and DD make a really good tea--they brew strawberry and peach herbal teas and mix it with the powdered lemon tea from Lipton's--it's sweetened but they do 1/2 of the powdered called for and make 1/2 gallon--then mix it with 1/2 gallon of the strawberry peach mixture that has 0 calories--so it's just a little sweet, no artificial sweetners (I'm allergic to those too!) and it's healthier than soda or fully sweetened tea.
