So my little one has had pneumonia. We are trying to get better. extra effort makes the coughs starts and his whole body just shakes. But a few days on the anti-biotics. So Hopefully he will be feeling better soon.
What I wanted to say was… HAPPPY!! New !! YEAR!!! to everyone. it is gonna be a fantastic year ahead!!

Here is another holiday project. A project my hubby helped me with. I asked him for some large oversize letters. He cut them out of MDF board in his tool room and gave them to me for my “tool room” I spray painted them and then used glue to put the glitter on. two coats of glitter and then a clear polyurethane on top. I hope these little girls enjoy their letters we made three and I would say they are about 18 to 20 inches tall. I put hangers on the back for the wall. I did a lot of banging them to get as much glitter off as would fall off before they were wrapped. Yes that is dirt under that board. I try to spray paint outside. Well I hope they love them. thanks to everyone in the forum who helped me decide what glue to use. I used modge podge on two of them and then I used the glitter glue they had at Michael’s. Looked and felt the same and I couldn’t notice a difference.

I knew I would be busy this week because of the holidays. So I am preposting some items that you may have seen before and because they are gifts I had to wait til after the date for sharing gifts. And they are my holiday homemade projects. My goal this year was to go homemade. To make things for folks. So here is the first project which I finished in July.

Here is one of the pictures with Santa. I personally think this is the cutest. This is from our trip to the polar express in William Arizona. The Santa was awesome, but we were the first ones in line. Wew! So I took this picture and loaded it to the computer and added the Merry Christmas sentiment to the bottom. Then imported it into word to print labels for the holiday packages. I did these ones tall on a 1.33 x 4 inch label. They came out cute and easy to use for on packages.

Here is my son… He goes out to feed with Dad and he loves to feed his horse. Haha. I saw him scooting around on the pipe so I had to snap a picture. He runs over before Dad can get there to feed his horse. love it!

Bet you never thought you would see a layout like this from me! LOL Although we are sweltering here in Australia, my daughter is enjoying a true winter in the States!
These are some photos of my daughter enjoying a recent heavy snow fall in Virginia where she is working as an Au Pair. She is having a ball having never seen snow like this before. We don’t get snow like this in our part of Australia. The children had a lot of fun sledding down a small hill near their home.

Allright I was in a glittery mood and you will see why in my holiday gifts next week. ( I can’t post them until after I give them ) I saw this done in a few places so thought I would give it a whirl super easy and super pretty. I don’t know if I will have time to do many more, but thought since I had the supplies out I would try it. I couldn’t think of what to put on the outside. I wanted to do white vinyl. Will have to think on it some more as the holiday nears.
