My free download today is a file requested from my sister… She needed something to add a personal touch to her daughter’s gift. I can see her zooming around with this sticker on the back.

Offered in MTC, SVG, DXF, KNK, WPC, AI, GSD.. a freebie cutter file offered up for vinyl cutting. But also… you may be interested if you are a digital scrapper to download this file. I believe you can open the AI file in photoshop and if you have elements and get it to work by opening the svg or the ai file I would love your feedback. Enjoy! See below for the download location.

Well my Dad has flown back to Wisconsin to get ready for ice fishing. I am back at it.

Christmas gift with Chris Durnan’s Angel File

I used Chris’s angel file – part of her “The Gift” QMC club – to make this Christmas gift. I cut the angel out of gold vinyl and put it on this ruffled red charger. The Gift QMC is still available, but hurry – you can find it here.

Here’s a quick and elegant Christmas card I created using Chris Durnan’s file – Side Cut Ornaments. You can find the cut file here. I cut the ornament from red cardstock and adhered it to a gold patterned paper. I added some green glitter glue and rhinestones – instant Christmas card!

Day 5: 12 days of Christmas

Hello again! Hope your holiday season is going well. Today is Friday and my Dad flew in last night from Wisconsin. So my siblings and their families are here with us. This year is my year to host the holidays with my Dad and I am sooo excited to have everyone here. I have been thinking about it all week. Trying to get everything ready for the cousins to play together and the adults to hang out and chat. My hubby is the best as he deals with my crazy preparing. As always there were about 100 things on my list to try and get done and I chocked off about 20 of them as this is not gonna happen!. I love to see my family for the holidays. We enjoy eachothers company so much.

So here is a card of inspiration today. .. it comes to you from.. Kelly.  This is an older one of my files but I love it what Kelly has done with it. Below the card is Kelly’s “recipe” for the card.

Here is a Christmas card I made for the holiday season. The background paper is from my scrap bin (maybe DCWV?). I used a wonderful cut file from Visual Designs by Chris (Poinsettia Happy Holidays – CD00137). All of the non-patterned paper is from The Paper Temptress (from the mica/metallic line – love that paper!). I used my Scor-Pal to score lines in the leaves of the poinsettias. Then I used my i-rock (my new favorite tool) to attach various gems to the centers of the poinsettias. I also added 3 red gems to the lower left corner.

Day 4 : 12 Days of Christmas & Super Deal

Today is Day 4 of the 12 days. I have some inspiration to show you. Don’t forget I still have my newest Monogram 11 file set on sale for $3.99 for just a day or so more and also, the quarterly membership club is available also for just a few more days and then closes its doors. Now is a great time to get it. 
Here is the card I am showcasing today. This card was created by Angie. I really like this card. It stands out to me so much. It just makes me happy.  Here is Angie’s Recipe for the card:

A pretty simple card here…  Cut #CD00187 in different colors.  The background is embossed with a spots and dots folder using my Cuttlebug.  I used a border punch by Fiskars along the bottom and backed it with a strip of purple.  Pulled the purple into the bling as well.

Day 3: 12 Days of Christmas Creativity

Today is my day on the 12 days of Christmas. I have something fun for you, but first as promised I have another Creative Team Holiday Card. Here are her words on the card…

I used only the title to create this card but that was enough with the shiny ribbons and paper.  I used a Fiskars border punch at the bottom of the card and then backed it with a strip of gold paper.  Carried the theme through with the gold ribbons.  Added a little red bling to spice it up and fast easy card is created.

Ornament Card and Day 2 of 12 days.

It’s my day to be the Card A Day postee. Here are two cards using the same file of mine. and created in different ways. I love the versatility of this file and I love how these ladies always make me shine.  The first is by Kelly. Here are a few words on how she created this beautiful card.


I used the Ornament Card Front (CD00625) file from Chris to create this Christmas card. I love this file because there are only 2 cuts to make, one for each layer. And you could just stop there and have a beautiful card. I decided to add some extra details to mine. The background was embossed with the Large Snowflake Cuttlebug folder. I used a gold paint marker to add pen stitching around the outside and to color the tops of each ornament. Using my i-rock, I attached some red, green and gold gems to one of the ornaments. I added green, red and gold Stickles to a couple of the other ornaments. I also added a clear rhinestone that I colored with the gold paint marker to the other ornament. I just love all the sparkle!


And this version below is from Angie. and her notes on the card and how she created it.
What a fun card!  I used #CD00625 cut from red and green cardstock.  I used the ornament topper from #CD00627 cut from gold.   I cut the ribbon and string off of the topper and mounted over the red.  I used a gold leaf pen to add some dimension to the strings.  I decorated the ornaments using punches:  holly from fiskars and snowflake from Emaginations.  One of the holly leaves was punched from the green paper that was clear embossed to make it a little dark to create some shading.  Added some purple bling and tiny red bling for the holly berries.  I pop dotted the snowflake.  Added some green ribbon and stamped the greeting (unknown/unmounted stamp) using white Staz-on. 
Wow just fantastic. I love to see these cards created with my files. It is like Christmas.
