| Disclaimer: strips are straighter than they appear. LOL I used just the border of Visual Designs by Chris #CD00646 MY LOVE FOR YOU. I like using bits of a file for things they weren’t really created for. This strip looked like bubbles to me. Created larger bubbles with circle and tear drop punches. Inked the bubbles a little with Close to My Heart ink. Just cut strips of yellow to add as separation.

| This is my ma’s yummy apple pie recipe! I used just the apple from the Visual Design by Chris file #CD00331 APPLE FOR THE TEACHER. I cut the apples out in white and cut off the leaf. I inked the apples with mauve, red and tea dye Distress inks adding highlights with a white gel pen. Then I cut the regular leaves in green. The title is Quickutz Maggie mini and an apple and tear drop punch – inked like the other apples. Some fun ribbon and pop dotting of a couple of the apples. Added a bit of white gel pen highlights along the edges of the layout.

Sandy of http://www.iloveknk.com/ has been a phenomenal support for me. She continuously answers my many questions regarding the Klik-n-kut. It’s software and of the possibilities. She also is an enabler when it comes to the cutting machines as they are her passion. And I being a person that owns quite a few myself, can completely understand that. I have attended a KNK retreat and I highly recommend it. She is my go to person for KNK and I refer everyone I know there as they will receive the highest level of help and continued support. I have met Sandy and she is just as awesome in person as she is over the phone/email.
This weekend should be a fun filled and busy weekend. Invite everyone you can because we are going to party in the forum. Our designers on the “More” team have really raised the bar this year with lots of freebies and offerings and challenges. Just phenomenal. I really want to thank them for helping me thank you, the members of the site, for participating in our forum and really making it so awesome.
Elizabeth and Ginger co-host the Bingo game at the forum and once the anniversary party is over you can sign up for Bingo which starts on the 19th.
And our cutter file “freebies” are kept in the forum. We add to them as we can.
Our 2nd Anniversary Celebration!. In fact some of the items have started loading to the forum. Woohoo!! I am off to keep putting it together. Have a wonderful day and get ready get set… here it comes… fun fun fun!!

Here I am. Wow I am looking through our prizes. Watching the designers on the “More Team” put together all their extras and fun stuff for the Anniversary Party this weekend. I am so so so excited! It has been a lot of fun seeing everyone’s projects in the forum and helping folks in the forum. Please mark your calendars for this coming weekend. Isn't he the cutest. My hubby loves little babies. But we both really love
little babies that are our niece and nephews when they have other parents to
stay up with them all night. Hehe. And here is my crazy kid, his cousin and
our Nan holding the baby. Nan always looks up at the sky like she sees some
bird that has popped into the room. I figured out how to fix that last time
we were all together. I hold the camera to the side and then I talk to Nan
and say look at me and smile.. she looks me in the eyes. And wahla she is
looking at the camera and not some imaginery bird. Thank goodness. 🙂

Here is one of the grab bag files I created for the month of October. Those great Happy Birthday Banners etc. I made this one below for a baby shower for a friend. My kiddo wanted to help so he cut the little bee from the walk in the garden cartridge on my Cricut. He loves loves to push those buttons and helped me glue them together. I will be using this file alot personally. I used brads with flowers and hung the bees and flowers with thread. My kiddo cut one of the bees and didn’t want to glue the pieces on again. So he drew the cute smiley bee and he was thrilled to see it up on the decorations in the pictures. The shower’s theme was quite bumbley and super cute! Heidi did an awesome job putting it together. She definitely has style when she plans her parties. And the diaper cake came out super cute. I have never made one of these, but I think these guys are the experts in diaper cakes. Cute cute!
